Dance World Cup
If someone had told me 10 years ago when I opened Grazia that my little dance school would qualify to represent England and share the stage with some of the best dancers in the world, I would have laughed. I initially auditioned the dancers in secret throughout the pandemic and it was the best feeling to surprise the dancers with the news we had qualified!
Collectively as a teacher working alongside my dedicated dancers and the commitment from parents, we managed to tick something off my bucket list as over the last 3 years 2021, 2022, and 2023 we have come away as 1st placed world champions and runners-ups. We have been lucky enough to have travelled to some amazing countries as the competition was held in England in 2021, San Sebastian, Spain in 2022, and Braga, Portugal in 2023. We have made some incredible memories together.
The whole experience, from start to finish, was outstanding. Watching the girls work so hard and put blood, sweat, and tears into their performances has been a very proud moment for me. I am constantly in awe of how determined these young ladies are, the journey we have shared has been everything I expected and more.
We are forever grateful to have been given this incredible opportunity, and for all the support, sponsors, and fundraising our dance community gave us. Also, thank you to my amazing dancers that I got to share this incredible experience with, I hope I helped make your dreams come true!
