The school can celebrate class work and examination success with family and friends at our Annual Award Ceremony.
Our Ceremonies are held at Ruddock Performing Arts Centre, King Edwards School, Birmingham.
Dancers demonstrate their class work for each genre to give you an insight into what we do in class work.
Examination Certificates are received, we also operate our own class achievement recognition scheme that rewards students for exemplary conduct and high achievement.
A medal is given to the students that have shown hard work and dedication per genre. We also give the dancers the opportunity to vote for dancer’s dancer and a trophy is awarded to the dancer of the year.
Grazia students continuously achieve outstanding success at regional, national, and international dance competitions throughout the year.
We are incredibly proud to be one of a select number of dance schools chosen to represent England at both the prestigious Dance World Cup and Global Dance Open, both of which are international competitions hosting thousands of dancers and hundreds of countries each year.
Our students consistently earn hundreds of medals, trophies, and championship titles at the many competitions we attend each year, reflecting the exceptionally high standards of technique, performance, and choreography taught at Grazia.
Among our many achievements, we are proud to have been named Overall Top Studio in 2026 at Prodigy Dance Competition, further demonstrating our commitment to excellence and competitive success.
Dance Shows
Our Annual Dance Show is one of the most exciting highlights of the Grazia calendar!
Each year, students and teachers work together to create an unforgettable production, with brand-new choreography, stunning costumes, and inspiring performances brought to life on stage.
The result is a spectacular showcase performed in a professional theatre, giving our dancers the opportunity to experience the excitement of a live stage performance in front of family and friends.
Students from our Dancing Dots, Primary, Junior, Inter, and Senior classes are all invited to take part, making it a truly inclusive celebration of talent and achievement. To preserve these special memories, every show is professionally recorded, providing families with a lasting keepsake to treasure for years to come.

As a dance school who values the growth and commitment of our dancers from all ages, it is our pleasure to offer exams to students in:

We normally take exams:
Acrobatic Arts – Once a year Ballet, Contemporary and Tap - Twice a year
While exams are not compulsory, our program is a recognised syllabus. If your child is considering continuing to dance vocationally as they grow older, we strongly recommend completing your exams.
Our vast experience shows that formal exams present a unique opportunity for the children to display and take pride in how hard they work and can progress in their classes. Our exam students always find their exam experience to be uplifting, beneficial and rewarding.
Dance Scholarships
ABD Scholarship Success - We are incredibly proud to have been invited to attend previous ABD Scholarship events as a result of our dancers’ outstanding examination results.
These prestigious invitations have provided our students with the opportunity to compete alongside some of the most talented dancers in the country, with several progressing to the finals. At the most recent event in 2025, we achieved an exceptional result, with five dancers placing in the Top 5 of their categories. This was particularly impressive given that some sections featured as many as 76 competitors. We are delighted that Lilly, Tulip, Izzy, Molly, and Eadi all achieved Top 5 placings, and we are especially proud that Tulip has been selected to represent ABD at the TDCI Scholarship Grand Finals in Blackpool in August 2026.
